On a bit of a break...

After moving to a new state and having a baby with in one week,(back in August) I still feel a bit of anxiety!

Many, many changes came all at once for our little family.  One huge change that came when we moved was saying goodbye to the fun I started to have with U Pix.  Spring and summer of 2011 was busy with photo sessions and a blast!-- I miss those times.  Yet, I have found that no matter how much I miss photography, the thought of pushing my business right now gives me stress.  My little boys need their mama, and without too many distractions. I will never get these moments back with them.

Tonight I was so grateful to stumble upon another Utah photographer's blog post about taking a break from the "business", while still letting creativity explode and having fun with photography again!

HERE is the link to her blog post.

I am hoping to start this project soon!  But not too soon--(this is a no strings attached kinda thing!)  :)

Thank you Brooke Snow Photography for helping me find this huge sense of relief!  :)

Loving me some baby Noah

I wish he could stay this small forever.
I might just start carrying him around in my purse. :)

Baby Noah... my very own!

We made it to Minneapolis and exactly one week later, we had our
baby Noah come into our lives.
He must have been too anxious to make our new apartment feel like a home--  He came at 36 weeks.
I feel so complete with my little baby here-- healthy and so adorable.
Here is a little peek at who I'm playing ugga-mugga with now-a-days.  :)

{Photos taken at 6 days old
in our little apartment that has almost zero natural light.
I have a love/hate relationship for the trees that surround our windows}.

Avery in white

A special day is coming up for my beautiful niece, Avery...
She will be baptized.
I am sad that we will have already moved before this day,
but I am so glad I was able to take these photos of her in her baptism dress.

 A song for Aves....
Sent to this earth, You were saved through the ages for this day and time Child of great worth Child of promise, daughter of the Divine Pure and holy in a little, white dress You were held in a circle and you were blessed ... And the Father looked down And the angels surrounded that place They knew the truth, all that you could do And you will, too, if you have eyes to see ....    What heaven sees in you

Dressed in white once more Making promises to follow in God’s way So much lies in store For the little girl who enters at the gate Pure and holy in a little, white dress You were led into the water and you were blessed... And the Father looked down And the angels surrounded that place. They knew the truth, all that you could do.  And you will, too, if you have eyes to see......  What heaven sees in you

I am proud to call you my niece Avery.
I hope you feel so special, pure, and happy on this day.
You are an amazing young girl and I love you very very much!

Bentley Family

When we moved "up north" for the summer I was afraid I wouldn't find as many photo locations...
Boy, was I wrong!

There are darling places all over this country valley that I'm falling in love with.

Meet the Bentley Family!
{in Bear River City}

Happy Summer nights to you guys!
Thank you for using me as your photographer again!  :)

My mama and me... Amy and Lucee

This session was a mother's day gift to Amy from her hubby.
Sweet husband I must say!

He is probably at home (in China) missing his girls very much as he see's these photos.
Need a tissue Dave?  :)
Thanks for sending your girls my way during their visit home!
