Hello???  Is anyone still following this blog?  :)

I have been putting U Pix on the back-burner this past year 

(and my kiddos on the front-burner) while daddy is still working hard in his graduate program. 

Just two semesters left!  Whoot whoot! 

But, I am happy to pop in with a session today!

I had the opportunity to take photos of an amazing couple this morning, with their new baby!

We had a great time admiring baby *T, 

and I was shocked with how itty-bity he was.

{I guess I am used to packing around my 

"baby" Noah, at 23 whopping pounds now!}  :)

I loved this session for a few reasons:

1) I found out that this sweet couple 

lives in the exact same apartment as one of my 

best friends that just moved away!  Crazy eh?

2)  Baby's sweet grandma came all the way from 

Africa to help with new baby! She is beautiful and kind. 

I was thrilled when I got to take photos of her as well. 

I really can't get over the kindness in her eyes as I have edited these photos.  

(This made me miss my mama).

3) The parents of this little dude were a blast 

to chat with! They are super photogenic (gorgeous if you ask me) and very friendly. 

You can't beat that!  :)

I am so happy for 

this little family.  

I hope to see this little boy more in the future!

A dream come true for me...

Being invited to take photos of a 5 day old baby!

I could have kissed him all day and wanted to take him home in my purse!

This little peanut, was so sweet and very sleepy! :)

The sweetest people in the world are the ones who are about 20 inches tall.  :)

 After hanging out with this bunch for the night,

 I decided that I'd love to have all BOYS!

A mother's love with her baby.... so sweet. 

Tip: If your child has a hard time getting his/her photo taken, bring a fun outfit they love to wear!

This hat and jacket made Scotty feel oh so glad!
